General Policy

Blue Moose Cabins are situated near the City of Kettle Falls, Ferry County, Washington.  The Cabins rent for $70.00 each per night, (for double occupancy). Each additional adult (over 12 years of age) a $10.00 per person per night fee will be added,  children under 3 years of age are free.

Our standard policy is that you may check into your cabin after 3 p.m.,  (should you want to arrive early we will accommodate you as best as we can depending on previous guests and cleaning of the cabins).  Check out is 11 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made with management. 

Please leave keys on table in the cabin or bring to the reception when checking-out.

Policy & Standards

Obviously, Blue Moose Cabins wants our guests to enjoy themselves and relax, BUT for the safety and convenience of other guests we ask the following of all our guests.

General

NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS.
Smoke outside, or on the decks. 
The grass is usually dry, so please be careful and use ashtray, extinguish all fire.

(The management respects the rights of smokers, but appreciates your cooperation in not smoking in our cabins).

We have provided facilities outdoor on the deck but also ask that you dispose of your cigarette butts thoughtfully.

Payment Terms

SORRY, No personal checks will be accepted.
Balance is payable upon arrival via cash, traveler's check, money order, cashier's check or Visa or Mastercard.
We do not advise anyone to provide credit card information over the internet.
(For your security, this information will be done in person or over the phone).

Cancellation Policy

Your reservation is a binding agreement for rental and you are obligated for the dates you have reserved.
Cancellation of your reservation 7 days or less (except for holiday or peak periods) prior to your arrival will be subject to forfeiture of deposit.

Group Bookings

In recent years many guests have been booking the entire place for 'Family reunions' and/or 'Gatherings' (which we actively encourage of course).
It became necessary to create a group booking policy ... please review this policy if you are considering group bookings

Holiday / Special events

At certain times of the year requests for lodging in the region is at a premium (hunting season, major fishing tournaments and certain events).
We will do our best to inform you of these periods at the initial time of your inquiry,
However, during these periods it is necessary to consider the following: Confirmation is required 3 weeks prior to your arrival during holiday periods.
Cancellations will be accepted up to three weeks notice.
Cancellations within three weeks are non refundable. (we will do what we can to avoid this if we can rebook the cabin)

Holiday Periods Include:
Easter, Fourth of July, Labor & Memorial Day Long Weekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years

Check In

Our standard policy is that you may check into your cabin after 3 p.m.,
(should you want to arrive early we will accommodate you as best as we can depending on previous guests and cleaning of the cabins).
Please inform us if you plan to arrive late so we can accomodate you. (see Check In / Out)

Check Out

Check out time is 11 a.m. so that we may clean and prepare the cabin for incoming guests.
We would appreciate your assistance in allowing us time to clean and prepare the cabins to same standards we endeavored to provide you for the other guests.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given due to equipment failure, poor road conditions, inclement weather, or your early departure for any reason.
We at BMC take pride in providing comfortable accommodations with vacation conveniences, and will do everything possible to right any malfunctions.

WiFi Access

We can provide our guests free hi-speed wireless internet connection (WiFi) for those guests who just cant escape the technology age (emails etc) during your stay.
Ask the management for the access 'WEP Key & password'

Damage Policies & Cleaning Fees

Tenant shall NOT intentionally or negligently destroy, deface, damage, or remove any part of the Cabins or the premises.
Guests are responsible for and required to pay for any damage done to the cabin and its contents.
A minimum fee of $50.00 will be assessed if excessive cleaning is required.

Furnishings & paper goods
Each cabin has heat and air and furnished for your comfort with initial supplies provided.
Paper goods may not sustain for your entire stay.
Toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies will be supplied only initially (one to two nights worth), for those staying longer supplies are the responsibility of the tenant.
BMC cannot guarantee any mechanical appliances 100% of the time.
If you have a problem, we will do our best to repair the malfunction as soon as possible, during business hours.
Locked closets and/or rooms are reserved for storage or private use, and are not included in your rental.
Guests must provide their own items for outside use such as picnicking or swimming.
We are not responsible for items left in cabins.
With your rental, you assume full responsibility for cabin security and its contents.
Please secure the cabin anytime you leave during your stay.
Descriptions, bed sizes, inventories, amenities and names are subject to change without notice.
Dishes & Appliances
USE DISHES AND APPLIANCES properly, and CLEAN THEM after use.
Hazards
The creek, lake beachfront, grounds, and cabin deck, as with any unfamiliar territory, can be hazardous.
Parents or guardians having signed the rental agreement have accepted their understanding of these dangers and their agreement to use the facilities at their own risk and to supervise children at all times.
Hunter Facilities

Each year BMC welcomes Hunters to the region.
BMC makes available a 'Hanging Shed' to skin deer, or for hanging game (when necessary).
BMC asks hunters to adhere to the following policies:
Ask to use the 'Hanging Shed' ... so we can prepare it correctly
FIELD CLEAN all game - that includes removal of skins etc off the property completely (DO NOT leave anything near the cabins or the creek)
Do not use trash bins for any disposal of game.
Attracting unwanted wildlife creates a potential hazard to other guests Be mindful of bloodied shoe prints or clothing on cabin interiors.

Other
Tenants shall NOT USE the Cabins or premises for an unlawful activity.
